Our vision for the future of the ImagineIF encompasses a Library that:
- Is welcoming to everyone and heavily used
- Continually improves as a top-notch library widely recognized across the community for its impact on individuals, families, schools, businesses, and organizations
- Provides outstanding services and resources:

- Offers a diverse array of free services and resources for all ages and backgrounds to meet the community’s informational, educational and cultural needs
- Plays a leadership role in improving early childhood literacy and school readiness
- Presents robust after-school and summer programs for our schoolchildren
- Conducts strong outreach to schools and other local organizations to raise awareness and use of the library
- Maintains a strong, inclusive collection of books, digital materials, and other materials
- Actively works to increase access to all library materials and services
- Provides up-to-date and innovative technology, digital materials, and Internet access
- Is a place for all members of the community, and especially seniors and economically disadvantaged households to access technology and related assistance
- Works with community partners to foster workforce development, skills training, access to job resources, and small business creation
- Has up-to-date facilities that support robust services, including state-of-the-art areas for children and teens, technology and programming
- Is well-managed and fiscally responsible:

- Has sufficient financial resources to provide meaningful services and resources that grow and match our expanding population
- Successfully partners with the Foundation and Friends to increase private support and community involvement in library operations
